There's an American sports bar 2 minutes from where I'm parked that's showing the West Ham game later.

Goody gumdrops.

That's the one. Probably 15 years since I last went in there.

Re: Stockholm
You mean the Tudor ARMS.

I was in there about 6 weeks ago.

Good for watching English football.

They gave me the hump though. They had a whisky on the list for about £2, so I had one.

When the bill came, the whisky was about £13.

Turns out it's £2 per 10cl or summat mental.

To be honest, I found it pretty forgettable to the point where I really had to think hard if it was Stockholm or Gothenburg I'd been to a few years later.

Re: Stockholm
Besides clubs and women it’s a beautiful city made up of islands . Lots of places to chill and eat by the sea. Take a boat to the Archipelago The Vasa as mention is great. Also Djurgarden park and see Elks and Wolves.

Beats all the other Nordic cities hands down and cheaper in my experience .

Re: Stockholm
Nobody mentioned the Vasa?

Fucking historical Philistines, the lot of you.

German or Russian sub (can't remember which) moored up nearby if the Vasa shivers yer timbers too much.

I used to enjoy a bar on the harbour that doubled as a TV studio, but we're talking mid- to late-90s here.

Tudor Arms is still there. I used to watch all the footie there inc 2006 WC. Yeah Djurgärden’s ground at Station was great. I still look out for their results as I see them as my 2nd team.

Saw Dépêche Mode in that stadium summer 2006. Great concert. The sun didn’t really go down.

Re: Stockholm
Ah, they share now, do they? Big move across the city down to there for Djurgardens.

Shame the old Soderstadion got knocked down. Lovely little ground.

Re: Stockholm
I lived in Östermalm the posh area near Djurgårdens old stadium. I could walk to Stureplan Where the best bar/clubs are. Try Sturecompagniet , Riche , Köket /The Kitchen , Berns.

The best place was Hotelet but its closed now.

Gamlastan the old Town is ok and Södermalm is more alternative / studently

I picked up a hot woman almost every night I went out. Yes inc Miss Sweden 2004

Get on tinder and start swiping right on everything within 5km.

Get a guide, and a bunk up, win win.

Re: Stockholm
Lived/worked there from 2004 - 2007 so knew it inside out.

Best city in the world after London in my opinion . Nightlife the best. The door policies at the best clubs are quite strict so need to be attractive and wear nice designer clothes.

So Leonard you’ll be out of place. Maybe go to Sodermalm . It’s a more plebbie.

Went to a Hammarby game last year.

They share the same stadium with Djurgardens, Tele2 Arena
